Read the comparison correctly

Yield changes are in basis points, with 100 basis points equal to one percentage point. Bill and interest shares change in percentage points. Buyback amounts are monthly sums in billions of dollars, filtered to liquidity-support operations. Monthly cap utilization is total accepted divided by total announced maximum, rather than an average of operation percentages.

Fiscal-year-to-date interest shares must compare the same calendar month in each year. A missing monthly observation stays missing; it is not replaced with another month or with zero. The current month’s buybacks may be partial. Model estimates can revise history; this tool uses the latest retrieved data, while published Data Notes preserve their own versions.
